God Sent Ministries is a Christian Ministry and also a registered 501 (c) (3) Church. It was born out of a prayer altar (called a "Kyoto" or "fire place" in the Ugandan language from which the founders originate).

To rescue, recover, & restore people to God who have never experienced the presence and power of God, and to also bring back those who have backslidden while empowering God's elect.

To further the faith of God's elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness and righteousness. Titus 1:1

CHURCH MINISTRY

Church ministries help members learn more about God and his word the Bible, worship in a more meaningful way, and grow closer to God by giving chances for spiritual growth and discipleship through Salvation, Deliverance, Healing, Hope, Edification, Reconciliation and Communication.

Apostle David Mugerwa

Apostle David Mugerwa is a servant of Jesus Christ, called to equip believers, strengthen the Church, and advance the Kingdom of God through sound biblical teaching, prayer, and apostolic leadership. With a deep passion for spiritual growth and discipleship, Apostle David carries a mandate to raise believers who walk in spiritual maturity, holiness, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Through his ministry, he focuses on building strong foundations in the Word of God, restoring lives, and mentoring leaders who will impact their communities and generations to come. His teachings emphasize practical Christian living, kingdom identity, and operating in the anointing and gifts of the Spirit. Apostle David is committed to shepherding God’s people with integrity, compassion, and spiritual authority. He believes that the Church is called not only to gather but to transform lives, families, and nations through the gospel of Jesus Christ. He continues to dedicate his life to prayer, teaching, counseling, and leadership development, empowering believers to discover their God-given purpose and walk boldly in their calling.

Pastor Debbie Mugerwa

Pastor Debbie Mugerwa is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ whose greatest passion is to see lives transformed by the power and love of God. His ministry flows from a deep personal relationship with the Lord, formed through prayer, studying the Word, and faithfully serving God’s people. From early in his spiritual journey, Pastor Debbie developed a strong burden to help others grow in their walk with Christ. She is especially passionate about teaching believers how to understand God’s Word, hear God’s voice, and live a Spirit-led life. Her calling centers on nurturing spiritual growth, restoring hope to the brokenhearted, and guiding believers into their God-given purpose. Pastor Debbie ministers with a shepherd’s heart, believing that ministry is not only about preaching but about walking alongside people through life’s victories and challenges. She is deeply committed to counseling, mentoring, and building strong, Christ-centered families and leaders who will impact future generations. Her teaching combines biblical depth with practical life application, helping people develop a strong foundation in faith while encouraging them to operate in the gifts and anointing of the Holy Spirit. She believes that every believer has a divine assignment and strives to equip others to walk confidently in their calling. Above all, Pastor Debbie desires to see the Church strengthened, communities transformed, and lives drawn closer to Jesus Christ through genuine faith, love, and discipleship.

Ministries

The Holy Spirit has revealed the Kingdom definition of each of these areas of emphasis by performing functions such as teaching of beliefs; leading services such as weddings, baptisms, or funerals; or providing spiritual guidance to the community. We also try to improve in many ways, including the general spiritual health, through involvement in the community, and create an impact.

Evangelism Ministry

The Greek word for "evangelist" is euaggelistes, which means "one sent to preach the gospel". We aim at sharing the message and teachings of Jesus Christ, or the gospel, with the intention of bringing people to Jesus Christ. It can involve: Preaching the gospel to all people, in all situations, and at all times Witnessing to one's faith in Jesus Christ in all aspects of life Reaching out to people in their various life situations Building relationships with people Offering healing care and concern Inviting people into a relationship with Jesus and the Christian community Calling people to grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ

Hospital Outreach Ministry

In this ministry we work at providing support and services to people who are hospitalized, in nursing homes, or homebound, connect people with their faith community and to help improve society by meeting people's needs. We visit people in hospitals, nursing homes, and private homes. These visits include prayer, listening to concerns, and Holy Communion. In the future we intend to provides short-term healthcare services to local communities. These services can include vaccinations, eye exams, and dental check-ups.

Prisons Outreach Ministry

We aim at serving incarcerated people and their families in a variety of ways, including: Teaching: Providing spiritual lessons, such as how to forgive, pray, and listen Supporting: Addressing the spiritual, personal, and social needs of incarcerated people Educating: Informing inmates about their faith and answering questions Organizing: Planning spiritual activities and meetings Volunteering: Participating in activities like Bible study classes, prayer teams, and re-entry mentoring Writing: Sending letters to inmates to provide hope and connection Chaperoning: Accompanying ex-offenders to and from services

Orphanage Outreach

We intend to help children in need by providing resources, education, and care: Education: We want to provide educational resources to children in underserved communities. They may also help children enroll in schools that meet their needs. Care: We want to provide food, medical care, and emotional healing to children and their families. Mentorship: We want to provide mentorship and continuing education to help children develop life skills and job training. Community partnerships: We want to partner with local churches, ministries, and organizations to provide professional expertise, funding, and volunteer support. Local leaders: We want to empower local leaders to do more to restore hope.
