Privacy Policy

Effective Date:  June 13, 2026

Last Updated:  June 13, 2026

God Sent Ministries (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Ministry”) values the trust you place in us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, online giving, and ministry activities, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or providing information to us, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you choose to give us, and information collected automatically when you visit our website.

Information you give us. This may include your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number; prayer requests and messages you send; details you provide when you register for an event, join a small group, or volunteer; and giving information when you make a donation.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, our systems and service providers may automatically record certain information such as your device type, browser, IP address, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and Tracking Technologies” below).

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your prayer requests, questions, and messages;

  • Process donations and issue contribution receipts and year-end giving statements;

  • Send you ministry updates, newsletters, event details, and other communications you have asked to receive;

  • Coordinate volunteering, small groups, outreach, and other ministry activities;

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website; and

  • Comply with our legal, accounting, and tax-reporting obligations as a tax-exempt organization.

Online Giving and Payment Processing

When you give online, your payment is handled by trusted third-party payment processors. Your full debit or credit card number is entered directly with the processor and is not stored on our own servers. We receive confirmation of your gift and the information needed to record it and provide you with a receipt. Each payment processor handles your card details under its own privacy and security policies, which we encourage you to review.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to help it function and to understand how it is being used. We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep the site secure, and measure how visitors use our pages so we can improve them. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent; however, some parts of our website may not work properly without them.

How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: with companies that help us operate the Ministry—such as payment processors, email and website hosting providers, and giving-management software—who are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.

  • Legal requirements: when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required to comply with the law, a court order, or a lawful request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the Ministry, our members, or others.

  • With your consent: in any other case, only with your permission.

Children’s Privacy

Our website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. When children participate in ministry programs, we collect information from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to maintain accurate giving and ministry records, and to comply with our legal and tax-reporting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Rights

  • You may unsubscribe from our emails at any time by using the “unsubscribe” link in any message or by contacting us directly.

  • You may ask us to review, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and we will respond to reasonable requests as required by applicable law.

  • You may adjust your browser settings to manage or disable cookies.

Our website may contain links to other sites, such as Bible-study resources, our online giving platform, or partner ministries. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.
